Free Simulated Radar Client project is a framework for radar clients for virtual air traffic control networks.

Free Simulated Radar Client is a framework for radar clients for virtual air traffic control networks (e.g., VATSIM and IVAO). Currently work is occuring on a radar client (an ASRC clone), a flight strip display, and a 3D tower view.

The framework analyses the data provided by servers of these networks and provides interfaces for radar clients (or other applications) to access this data.

Requirements:

?Java Runtime Environment 1.3 or later

Running:

Method 1)
- Run "scope.sh LOG_FILE" for the radar client demo, where LOG_FILE is the file name of a log file in the "log" directory, e.g. "log/vatsim_01.log".
- Run "strips.sh LOG_FILE" for the flight strip display, where LOG_FILE is the filename of a log file in the "log" directory, e.g. "log/vatsim_01.log".

Method 2)
- Run a proxy program (e.g. PCProxy or c_shuttle)
- Run a radar client (e.g. ASRC) with the usual settings
but connecting to "127.0.0.1".
- Run "scope_online.sh".
